Beginner moves:

NECKBREAK

LADYSPIN

CHANGE BEHIND

Tips when doing these moves.

Men should take care with the Neckbreak.  After wrapping the lady in ready to whisk the lady around for the 11/2 turns CW, he should make sure that he lets the lady come fully to face them before he raises his LH to turn the lady for a second turn. If he does not do this he is likely to lift his hand too soon and will therefore hurt the ladies shoulder.

When doing the Lady Spin men make sure that you prepare for the ladies to spin by taking your RH across to the right hand side at the ladies waist height and create a cupped hand for the lady to place her fist into. Ladies press your fisted right hand into the man's cupped hand to create the tension needed for the spin.

Change Behind involves men changing the ladies hand into their left hand as they turn a half turn ACW. Keep the hand low in your back as you change the hand so not to hurt your arm.

Intermediate moves:

NECKBREAK MAN'S NELSON COMB

CATAPULL-THROUGH

MAYPOLE

Tips when doing these moves

When doing the Neckbreak man's nelson comb, men do a normal neckbreak as you take hold of the ladies left hand in your left hand. Men will unwrap the lady a full turn, with both hands in a CW direction and when the lady comes to face, men hold down their right hand and turn a full turn ACW to face, so that their right arm is in a nelson position. Men then comb the ladies hair with their left hand. Release and step back.

With the Catapull-through, men pull the lady past them with their right hand so that they begin to change places, placing their left hand onto the ladies wrist momentarily, they then turn the lady CW and turn themselves away from the lady as they place their right hand onto their right shoulder. Men lways remember to step forward as they offer their left hand behind them to create tension. Ladies remember to step back at this point to help create that tension.

The Maypole involves the man doing a two handed travelling return as he changes places with the lady.  He then raises his  right hand to turn the lady CW as he allows his left hand to slide up to the ladies shoulder. A flat hand then pushes down for the man to turn the lady two whole turns ACW to face.
